The county’s Williamson 2040 plan predicts population growth could hit 530,000 residents in Williamson County by 2040. More than 80% of Williamson County residents are white, but census data showed an almost 25 percent increase in Black residents. Hispanic or Latinx went up by nearly 75 percent. Residents who identify as two or more races grew as a category by 464.5%.
