A big calendar of events will be rolling out over the second half of 2022 on the beautiful Coffs Coast.
The Coffs Coast has a reputation for event excellence, which continues to grow, despite the challenges of the last two+ years. Combined with a destination full of things to see, do and experience, events create a special appeal for visitors, and bring the local community together. Below are just a few events coming up on the Coffs Coast that we’re looking forward to.
Food and music lovers rejoice
The Coffs Coast Food & Wine Festival is a celebration of local food, held in venues across the region from June 4 to 13. Don’t miss the finale weekend at Jetty Beach House with a lineup of some of Australia’s finest musicians, complemented by food trucks, tastes of the Coffs Coast and more! Get your 1950s groove on at the Summer Beach Hop on June 12 – the cars, the clothes, the music, the dancing – it’s all free to enjoy at the Jetty Foreshores. Hot and spicy is the name of the game at the Sawtell Chilli Festival in July and Woolgoolga Curryfest in September, and you can cruise to the bands while enjoying food featuring blueberries at Blues & Berries Festival in November.
Sports fans are revving up
The mighty Cronulla Sharks will take on the Gold Coast Titans in Round 15 of the NRL Premiership at C.ex Coffs International Stadium on June 18. Tickets are almost sold out so get in quick! In August, the stadium will also host players from 30 nations for the International Tag Series.

Celebrate the great place we live
Don’t miss this huge community event (times two!) on June 19 when the Coffs Harbour Botanic Garden will hold their Open Day. Featuring guided tours of the new greenhouse and Coffs EcoQuest challenges, the garden will also host the fabulous All One Under the Sun Festival. Food, music and everyone together in Coffs Harbour’s green oasis… this will be a wonderful day for all the family!
See it at the theatre
The Jetty Theatre features a packed calendar. Some of the highlights coming up include: The Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow, bringing the freshest and funniest from the 2022 Festival; acclaimed modern flamenco ensemble Bandaluzia led by ARIA nominated Flamenco guitarist Damian Wright; The Tap Pack, mixing slick humour, high energy entertainment and world class tap dance; and multi Golden Guitar Award winner, Melinda Schneider, in an intimate two-hour concert, Love Songs.
Just do it with your mates
The Bendigo Bank Running Festival and the Woolgoolga MTB Festival are both held in September. These events attract participants from all over, but locals of all ages, abilities and fitness levels have the opportunity to take part. So pull on your running shoes or grab your mountain bike and go!
