Patronis invites In-N-Out to Florida to run animal-style all over public health and safety Florida CFO Jimmy Patronis is pushing to bring iconic West Coast burger chain In-N-Out to Florida, following the chain’s pushback against vaccine mandates in California. The lone San Francisco location of the fast food chain was closed briefly after failing to check customers’ vaccination status, a requirement for indoor dining under a citywide mandate. “We refuse to become the vaccination police for any government,” In-N-Out chief legal officer Arnie Wensinger said in a statement to CBS. Patronis reached out to tout the corporate handouts on offer in Florida, telling In-N-Out president Lunsi Snyder, “The business climate here is perfect, with no personal income tax, low corporate taxes, an educated workforce and a fantastic quality of life.”

Orlando mom barred from volunteering at schools after OCPS discovers her OnlyFans account An Orange County mom has been barred from volunteering at her children’s elementary school after officials were made aware of her job as an adult entertainer. Victoria Triece said she had been volunteering with the Orange County school district for nearly five years when she received word from the district that she could no longer lend a hand at Sand Lake Elementary. She was booted from the countywide volunteer program after a parent found her account on OnlyFans, a website where users can subscribe to models to receive explicit photos and videos. Triece was required to pass a background check to become a volunteer and has no criminal record. Triece pointed out that the explicit photos of can only be seen by an adult who pays to access them.

Florida’s surgeon general says he can’t communicate clearly while wearing a mask Brand-new Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo made national headlines after Sen. Tina Polsky said last week he refused to put on a mask when he and two aides arrived in the waiting area of her office to discuss his pending Senate confirmation. Ladapo defended his decision not to wear a mask when attempting to meet with Polsky even after she informed him she had a serious medical condition by saying he cannot communicate clearly “when half of my face is covered.”

Hope Partnership to host a ‘Hope Holiday Village’ charity event in December
The world’s oldest and best-known restaurant rating system is finally coming to Florida. Visit Florida, the state’s public-private tourism agency, announced today that it has reached an agreement to bring Michelin Guide to Florida. The first Michelin guide for Florida will debut in spring of 2022, and will only include the Tampa, Orlando and Miami metro areas. Founded in France in the late 1880s, the highly coveted rating guide system is nearly 120 years old and is found mostly in Europe. Until recently, Michelin ratings were only found in four U.S. metros: Chicago, New York, San Francisco and Washington, D.C.
