GATLIN HALL BREWING Another excellent option on South Orange Avenue for happy hour, casual weeknight eats and leisurely weekend hangs. Tyler Rosenberg, formerly of Tampa’s Cigar City, is the brewmaster, and the 12-plus taps feature Florida-only brews. The three restaurant counters serve poke bowls, burgers and pizza, and there’s ample space inside and out for sipping and savoring. Open daily. (reviewed Oct. 20) 4721 S. Orange Ave., 407-317-5157, gatlinhallbrewing.com, $$
GORDON RAMSAY FISH & CHIPS Pricey boxes of fish and chips are the draw at Gordon Ramsay’s Icon Park chippie. The batter lends an exceptional crispiness to the cod, though it can overwhelm the subtle flavors of the shrimp. Beware salty lobster and cloyingly sweet shakes. Open daily. BUTTERCRUST PIZZA The square-baked grandma pies at this SoDo hotspot veer more toward Detroitstyle, but whatever you call it, the airy, cushiony focaccia-like crust is a pleaser. Traditional round pies are also offered as are pinwheels, “Cheese Bombs” and bread bites. Open daily. (reviewed Oct. 6) 4781 S. Orange Ave., 407-237-9981, buttercrust. com, $$ n
