Molly Cooper fund raises for the Christian organisation FEISA (Faith, Excellence, Integrity, Solidarity and Love) who train early years teachers under the umbrella of Evangelical University of Paraguay by making available greeting cards featuring Paraguayan Ñandutí (nyanhn-duh-tee), spider’s web lace. The embroidery work was taught by the invading Spaniards to the native women who quickly made it their own both in legend and in creatively.

This lace is made on a stretched piece of fabric attached to a wooden frame. Artisans begin their work with a spoke-like structure of foundation threads upon which many patterns that resemble various wild flowers, animals, and other shapes inspired by nature are carefully embroidered.
The colour circles of the lace calls to mind the work and philosophy of Wassily Kandinsky who thought that art should appeal to the soul, not just the eye. He also was known for promoting the integration of art forms, today we would call it multi media. Therefore these lace pieces contribute to this exhibition on many levels.

The lace cards are presented on a mobile.
