Meet Shawn Ramey, owner and founder of Elite Turf, sister company to American Team LLC. Shawn and his father Brian, both decorated military veterans, founded American Team LLC in 2006 with one goal in mind: customer satisfaction! In their early years, they off ered full property renovations, remodeling not only inside the house but a complete landscape design as well. Once Brian passed away, Shawn started to focus more on mastering landscape design. As artifi cial grass started to become a hot commodity, he quickly realized this is the future for water conservation and maintenancefree landscaping for his customers. Shawn became fully immersed in learning everything he could about the industry. Fast forward to 2021, Shawn is known in Arizona as a leading expert in residential and commercial artifi cial grass and hardscape design, Shawn has been instrumental in the training and development of many local artifi cial grass companies and installers. As a fully licensed, bonded and insured contractor, Shawn has installed, directed, overseen or been directly responsible for over 5,000 residential and commercial projects. Some of these projects include fi elds for the Los Angeles Dodgers, the White Sox, Arizona Sports Complex, and many more.
