Principles and strategies What are the principles of our strategies? What strategies could be used in the three different areas?

To create a value-based system that aims at achieving evolutionary resilience in this area, we derived certain spatial principles. To enhance the socio-ecological resilience of the region, these design principles look at establishing fair relationships between

90

different territories and people. They promote sustainable and circular usage of resources and efficient risk mitigation methods through softer systems. To create socio-economic resilience, the principles explore different ways of diversifying resource

dependency like establishing multi-functional and productive landscapes. They encourage utilising local potentials for income generation, create opportunities for the vulnerable communities and connect networks of attractions to achieve a synergetic resilient region.
