TâS A PROBLEM VIRTUALLY EVERY PARENT ENCOUNTERS WHEN THEY RUN INTO A STORE. Your child spots something they
want. Let the pestering and begging begin, right? Most kids donât really need another toy. But thereâs something else thatâs annoying about the âcan-I-haves.â Kids often donât really understand that toys cost money and that money isnât unlimited. Spending even a little here and a little there adds up. Hey, thatâs a lesson some adults struggle with too. While thereâs not much you can do in the moment (insert in-store meltdown here), there is something you can do over time: teach them about spending and saving. Thereâs a lot to understand, but youâll be doing your child a favor in the long run. In our next issue, weâll cover everything from credit cards to cryptocurrencyâhere, we start with the basics.
