The recently refurbished Ballroom has been lovingly restored to the ornate design. This wonderful space was previously the Dining Hall of Refuge employees, where men and women had to sit separately, but today it can host up to 650 guests for the ceremony and 750 for a standing reception. Couples can hire an external catering company if they wish and have exclusive use of the adjacent ballroom kitchen. The space includes the use of the ballroom bar, which can either be open or closed off depending on the couple’s preference.
Smaller celebrations take place in the Director’s Suite, with its oversized windows and oak panelling it has a luxurious atmosphere. Holding up to 60 loved ones for the vows and 70 for a buffet reception, it has an ornate marble staircase and plenty of spaces to take photographs.
Based underneath The Refuge Bar and Restaurant, Copperface Jacks is the perfect hideaway for evening receptions of up to 400 friends and family. This rustic space, with its central bar, provides a blank canvas that couples can personalise, and a small stage area that’s ideal for live music or a DJ.
