How can I restore my colour-damaged hair in time for my wedding day? Colour damage can make your hair look dry, dull and lead to breakage – not exactly what you want for your special day!
You can do a few things leading up to the wedding from home to get your healthy hair back, but your hairdresser should also be able to give you some options.
Depending on how far away the special day is, make yourself a ‘hair journey’ and remember your locks go through a six-week cycle.

Dermaplaning as a salon treatment has been around for a while, and quite frankly the very thought of it has always terrified me. So, I wasn’t too sure what to expect of this tool. I did my research on the benefits, genned up on this super-useful tutorial and I was ready to go. Wow, I don’t know what I was so worried about. It was easy to do and took no more than five to 10 minutes. Probably 10 for me as I got a bit addicted and couldn’t stop – I don’t recommend that though. It’s an incredibly satisfying process seeing all of that peach fuzz and dead skin disappear. I couldn’t believe how smooth my skin felt afterwards. Leave your skin to rest for around eight hours afterwards before you apply any skin products or make-up as it’s quite an intense exfoliation process, then repeat every two to four weeks. I can’t wait to see how regular use improves my skin further. I’m definitely sold on dermaplaning! I was surprised to find a balm texture when I first removed the lid, so was interested to see how this would go. Using the supplied spatula to remove the required amount of mask from the tub, I opted for generous dollop and began to massage it into my face as instructed. Its thick formula felt incredibly luxurious and I could already tell it was going to provide a pampering experience. I was particularly delighted by the advice to leave for a minimum of 30 minutes, which gave me an excuse to relax for a decent amount of time – none of this 10 minutes rubbish! When it was time to remove with warm water, I was delighted to find my skin looking renewed, beautifully supple and glowing.

Let me start by confessing that my heels are horrendous, always cracked and dry and nothing I try makes a difference. Until now that is.
