Cley windmill is a local landmark on the North Norfolk coast. Surrounded by reeds and marshland with the sea in the distance, it’s an idyllic setting for those in search of an original big-day backdrop. You can take over the whole place, tie the knot in the cosy candlelit dining room with up to 25 of your nearest and dearest and celebrate afterwards with an intimate wedding breakfast. Full of character, the round, beamed sitting room at the bottom of the tower provides a welcoming space, complete with a roaring open fire in the winter and comfy sofas for your guests to relax and unwind. There’s space for up to 16 people in the windmill’s fabulously quirky bedrooms with extra accommodation available in the self-catering cottage and The Old Cart Shed on site.
