Set in 35 acres of rolling parkland, Highfield Park is the perfect backdrop for special events. As guests travel down the tree-lined driveway and catch their first glimpse of the elegant 17th-century mansion house, they’ll know they’ve arrived somewhere special. The house offers commanding views over beautiful grounds; these breathtaking vistas can be enjoyed anytime from the covered terrace.
Whether couples are after outdoor ceremonies or indoor receptions, the team believes no two weddings should be the same. They can provide plenty of suggestions and help bring dream weddings to life. Within the grounds, lovebirds will find a historic folly and a pretty pavilion licensed for ceremonies with 140 people. There’s also the historic St Michaels parish church set within the grounds.
For grand celebrations, the Chamberlain is a spacious room with commanding views over the grounds, with space for 160 people for ceremonies and 140 for receptions. For up to 180 for the vows and 160 for the party, the Rotherwick is a modern space with endless options for romantic settings. Alternatively, The Wellington is a traditional room with floor-to-ceiling windows, a fireplace and chandeliers, which can host 86 people for the day and 45 for the evening. For more intimate weddings, The Stratfield offers traditional features and doors that lead to the patio. Exchange vows in front of 30 people and celebrate with 22.

The venue is ideal for weddings all year round. The Queen Mary Lawn provides the perfect spot for drinks receptions in the summer months, while the Tudor-style Music Bar is cosy in the winter.
The Ballroom is the spectacular centrepiece of the venue. It offers couples the most magnificent setting for sumptuous wedding breakfasts for 100 people, followed by evening celebrations with 180 nearest and dearest. The original fireplace takes centre stage, and the adjoining Music Bar provides extra seating in the evenings.

Rownhams House was built by Sir Isaac Newton’s nephew in 1762 for his new and beautiful bride Catherine Barton, a lady of some fame and fortune. The Georgian house and the Medieval Coach House are situated on 12 acres, home to manicured lawns, woodland areas, a picturesque lake and an ice house. The trees, flower borders, wild meadow and mature plants offer the perfect setting for many stunning photo opportunities. The large and flat top lawn is well placed for drinks receptions and games such as croquet. It can also be used as a seating area for outdoor wedding ceremonies under the clock tower arch. Weddings for up to 120 people can occur in the Grand Library with its attractive plasterwork walls and ceiling, in the dabbled shade of the woods or by the shimmering lake. Wedding receptions can occur in the Grand Library with 110 people, in a hired marquee or in the Coach House for smaller weddings. The calming and comfortable Billiard Room and Morning Room offer the perfect spaces for indoor drinks receptions and photographic backdrops should the rain come tumbling down. Couples can use these areas for smaller, more intimate weddings for up to 60 people.
The Coach House, built in 1600 by the Knights of St John, comprises several large rooms perfect for evening receptions. The Harvest Room has seating and eating areas, the Sofa Room is great for relaxing, and the hall serves food and cake. There’s also a dedicated room for live music, DJs, bands and a bar. What’s more, the owners want brides to be at their best on their special day and offers a private Brides Room.
To help ensure the day runs without a hitch, the team offers prewedding planning meetings and allows the bridal party and approved caterers access to the house the day before weddings to set up and the day after for collection.
