After finding that more and more couples were after a relaxed vibe for their wedding day, That Amazing Place wedding venue decided to launch a new package to cater for them. “We found our Twilight Package, with its buffet meal and evening party was too informal for some,” wedding and events director Angie Roberts explains. “In contrast, our Classic Package was sometimes too traditional with its three-course sit-down menu. So, we decided to create a fusion between the two and the Relaxed Package was born.”
The new package includes a drink and canapé reception with an informal two-course meal. Menus include chilled-out options such as Mediterranean-style sharing dishes or churrasco and dessert stands served to the table. “We’re excited to provide a relaxed feel alongside the traditional elements that many couples still want,” Angie adds. The Park Weddings and Events is a new venue on the Essex/Cambridgeshire border, which offers a total blank canvas for couples to create the wedding of their dreams. The two came together to bring their idea to life, but then the pandemic hit.
