Edgar A. Deprey, 99

SHREWSBURY - Edgar A. Deprey, 99, of Dalton Drive, Shrewsbury, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2021 at Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Joanne (St. Louis) Deprey, in July 2019, with whom he had shared 73 wonderful years.

He leaves his daughters, Sandra M. Ballard and her late husband James of Westborough and Linda T. Fitzsimmons and her husband Robert of Holden; his grandchildren, Christina McCarthy of Oxford, Robert Fitzsimmons Jr. and his fiancée Ashley of West Brookfield, Rebecca Lubelczyk of North Attleboro, and Michelle Ballard Ward of Florida; his greatgrandchildren, Kyle and Kaitlyn McCarthy, Paul and Nickolas Lubelczyk, and Karissa Bourque; and several nieces in nephews. Along with his wife and his parents, the late Alphonse and Celina (Martin) Deprey, Edgar was also predeceased by his siblings, Dorius Deprey and Freda Violette, both of Maine.

Patrick Maunsell, 91

GRAFTON - Patrick Maunsell, 91, a gentleman, passed away peacefully at home on May 26, 2021. His wife, Bridget (Quinlan), passed away in 2018.

Patrick is survived by his children, Elizabeth FitzGerald and her husband Arthur, Kieran “Bob” Maunsell and his wife Natasha, Julie Vona and her husband David, Gerald Maunsell, and Patrick Maunsell; his grandchildren, Bridget and Kiera Maunsell, Padraig and Katherine Vona, and Bridget and Maribeth FitzGerald; and several nieces and nephews. A daughter, Mary, and his seven siblings all predeceased him.

Anne M. Matson, 97

GRAFTON - Anne M. (Machiel) Matson, 97, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2021 at Beaumont Nursing and Rehabilitation in Northbridge. Her hus band, Daniel R. Matson, passed away in 2000.

Anne is survived by her daughter, Judith A. Malatesta and Kerry Greer; her sons, Thomas Matson and his wife Beth and Daniel Matson Jr.; her grandchildren, Brandi LaPlante and her husband John, and Jeremy Matson; her great-grandchildren, Dawn Wright, Ryan, Alex and Jack LaPlante, and Skylar and Jacob Matson; her dear friend, Richard Novick; and many nieces and nephews. Her son, Richard L. Matson, and all of her sisters predeceased her.

Robert F. Thompson, 87

WESTBOROUGH - Robert “Red” F. Thompson, 87, of Westbor o u g h , passed away on May 30, 2021 at the Notre Dame Long Term Care Facility in Worcester. He was the husband of Lorraine M. (Delaney) Thompson.

In addition to his wife of 68 years, he is survived by three children, Mary E. Culhane and her husband James of Westborough, Lorraine M. Cain of Northborough, and Robert F. Thompson and his wife Maria of Westborough; one brother, Patrick Thompson and his wife Susan of Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren, Marion Fisher, Elizabeth Surber, Brendan Cain, Regis Cain, Leanna Lussier, Kayla Rhuda, Christopher Thompson, and Robert Thompson III; and great-grandchildren, Michael, Mary Jane, Kenny, Evelyn, Eleanor, Christopher, Nikolas, McKenna, and McKayla.

Barbara A. Holmes, 87

SHREWSBURY - Barbara Ann Holmes, 87, of Shrewsbury, died on May 25, 2021 at her home. She spent her last days being cared for by her children with the support of VNA Hospice Care.

She is mourned by her daughters, Lorri Demers of West Boylston, Tracy (Michael Schramm) Holmes of Fayetteville, N.Y., and Karen (Barbara Malone) Holmes-Malone of Holden; her grandchildren, Brian (Amanda) and Neil (Jessica Levine) Demers, Emery and Louisa Schramm, and Matthew and Sarah Malone; her great-grandchildren, Lucia and Sierra Demers; her sister, Betty Lou Robertson; her sister-in-law, Linda (William) Skillen; and her nieces, nephews, and their families. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 65 years, Robert Holmes; her son-inlaw, Luke Demers; her brothers, Donald and Philip Ware; and her infant sister, Mary Lou Ware.

John T. Robichaud, 88

SHREWSBURY - John T. Robichaud, 88, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. J o h n leaves his four children, Susan Jordan, Jean Beaucage and her husband Donald, all of Worcester, Jon Robichaud and his wife Tammy of Kansas City, and Ricky Robichaud and his wife Debbie of Virginia, and his granddaughter, angel and caretaker, Riley Jordan. He also leaves several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. John wa s predeceased by his wife, Phyllis J. (Anderson) Robichaud, and two children, Bettyann Hakala and Jaime Robichaud.

Daniel J. Moynihan Jr., 79

SHREWSBURY - Daniel J. “Dan” Moynihan Jr., 79, of Shrewsbury, former Assistant Executive Director of the Worcester Housing Authority, died on Dec. 14, 2020 after a brief illness.

He leaves his loving wife of 55 years, Jane C. (Carrigan) Moynihan; their children, Daniel Moynihan and his wife Kathleen of Needham and Beth (Moynihan) Foley of Austin, Texas; their son-in-law, James Wilson; and their grandchildren, Timothy Moynihan, of Washington, D.C., Peter Moynihan, Charlotte Moynihan, both of Needham, Matthew Wilson of Boston, Lily Wilson of Westborough, and Patrick Foley of Austin, Texas. Along with his parents, the late Daniel J. Moynihan Sr. and Mary (Ford) Moynihan, Dan was predeceased by his daughter, Mary Lynne (Moynihan) Wilson; his son-in-law, Richard Foley; and his siblings, Thomas, Francis, and Mary Moynihan.
