they provided the valuable prayer insights in “Watch Workers Keep a Watch on Myanmar” on page 14. We pray that they might someday soon return to that country.

2 George Bednar serves as student pastor at First Baptist

Church in Charleston, SC. We got to know George, his family and his love for Myanmar while he served as a pastoral resident here at College Church. What a delight for him to contribute “The Mess and Mystery of Myanmar” on page 12.

3 Barb DeLew serves and cares well for this church family.

Whenever we talk to Barb, we always come away refreshed. We were delighted to see Barb’s reflections on thankfulness in the pandemic in our inbox, now on page 16 under the title “God’s Goodness in a Time of Pandemic.” We just want to know how her dog, Bonnie, is doing these days.

4 Josh Stringer has worked with church plants in Atlanta and

Louisville, and also spent years working as a butcher, which might explain his interest in grilling.

5 Nick Girgis is in the newest class of members at College

Church. We welcome him and look forward to what is in store for him and us in the days ahead. He managed to share his I Believe story of faith (on page 10) even as he studies at dental school.

6 Simone Halpin has served as the executive director of Nao-

mi’s House since 2016. In her article, “Growing Naomi’s House,” on page 15, Simone shares her heart for the ministry and some exciting initiatives for 2021 and beyond. She is a member of Moody Church.

7 Jim and Kathy Hansen served as missionaries in Bolivia

for 25 years with SIM. Jim now serves Ethnos360 Bible Institute in Waukasha, WI, and Kathy teaches at Faith Community Christian School in Fort Atkinson, WI. They contributed “The Great Commission Meets Closed Borders” on page 18.

8 Vijai Kuruppacherry opens up in his article “Not All Pan-

demic Lessons Are Online” on page 7. He shared his journey of faith, ”Before and After,” in the March 2020 issue of Connections and “The Internet, the Weekend and Haitian Kids” in the August 2019 issue of Connections. A member of College Church who has served in a variety of ministries, we are delighted to welcome Vijai back to our pages.

9 Jonathan Merry works at College Church as the Administrative Assistant for Communications. He practices photography in his spare time and is the creator of this month's cover image.
