Another year, another City budget! You’ll want to make note of this year’s highlights. Below are the key areas City Council approved for the fiscal year (October 1, 2025 – September 30, 2026). Palm Beach Gardens continues to stand out with the lowest total tax rate of any north county municipality!
Property Values: A Bright Rise
•FY 2026 Property Values: $21.7 Billion
•Overall Increase: 9.64% over last year
•New Construction: $595 million
Millage Rate: Highlighting Stability
•Total Millage Rate: 5.0537 *no change from last year
•Debt Rate: $0 *no change from last year
How much of my tax goes to the city?
About 28 cents of every $1 in total property taxes paid goes to the City.
Other taxing authorities collect about 72 cents of every $1 (PB County, School Board, Health Care District, other special taxing districts).
