Summer Youth Program

The annual program allows students to work up to 352 hours during June, July and August each summer. Students work in various roles and have an opportunity to learn more about our city, departments and work to build relationships with local leaders. Applications are accepted annually in May, and this year students will work in the following departments in the City of North Little Rock: Administration, Convention & Visitors Bureau, Communications, Laman Library, Fit2Live, Human Resources, Neighborhood Services, Parks & Recreation, and Police/Courts.

wenty-five students, ages 16-24, all North Little Rock residents, are working in the City of North Little Rock this summer through the Mayor’s Summer Youth Program: Mikahl Young, Landen Peyton, Kaya Porter, Bailey Bearden, Christina Arendale, Mary Insalaco, Damaro Nicholson, Jordan Owens, Alan Ingram, Emily Anne Harris, Jayvian Johnson, Christopher Brown, Khanya William Kendrick Brock, Bryana Young, Denver Brooks, Heaven Conley, DaShaia Brown, Christian Taylor, Shaniya Spencer, Antonio Bass, Travis Cooney, Nyla Cotton and Tristen Woods.
