PET LIFE

Victoria from Pooches & Prams shares her spring picks for you and your dog. With winter behind us, dog walking and getting out and about with the little ones is so much easier and, let’s face it, a lot more fun! Gone are the days of traipsing through mud in the freezing cold (fingers crossed) and hello to crisp walks in sunshine surrounded by nature coming to life as we walk past. Spring is hands down my favourite season, the colours, the smells and the optimism of the summer ahead makes it such a joy to be out and about in. To celebrate, here are my favourite bits and bobs for you and your family, including your four-legged members of course. The perfect book full of inspiration for children’s activities. I love The Joy Journal because it’s centred around nature and is full of ideas that you can incorporate into your daily dog walk as well as entertainment at home. We do so many scavenger hunts with Arthur (aged three) when out walking Rupert (our dog), such a great way to keep things fresh and interesting, and this book of full of so much more. The Joy Journal for Magical Everyday Play by Laura Brand is available now. instagram.com/thejoyjournal

Colourful stylish leads for spring walks Rope leads are great, not only are they sturdy and durable but they are so lightweight. I’ve been a fan of Bramble & Friends for a while, their designs are spot on, practical yet striking and all handmade in the UK. My particular favourite at the moment is the lead pictured here, Wisteria. From £30.00 brambleandfriends.com 32 | Cherubs Magazine
