Los buenos mayordomos glorifican a Dios

oy gracias a Dios por el don de la fe todos los días. Cuando aprecio los muchos dones que Dios me ha dado, me doy cuenta de que sin el don de la fe, estos otros dones perderían todo significado e importancia. El mismo regalo de la vida parece carecer de sentido si no se basa en la creencia de que hay un Dios que se preocupa por mí y por mis hermanos y hermanas. Los padres transmiten nuestro sistema de creencias y pueden ser hermosos ejemplos de personas fieles, pero la fe en sí misma es una gracia que solo Dios otorga, y Él la otorga generosamente. Todos los días le agradezco, y todos los días me doy cuenta de cuánto más podría nutrir y revelar esa fe al mundo. En estos días, he estado pensando en la corresponsabilidad y en cómo habla de mi camino de fe y amor por Dios. Cuando pienso en mí mismo como un administrador de lo que Dios ha creado, obtener una mayor comprensión del propósito de mi vida. Dios me ha promovido a mí, y a todos nosotros, a la alta vocación de cuidar de su creación. Con mi tiempo, talentos y tesoros que Dios me ha confiado, me preocupo por el mundo físico. Esta corresponsabilidad me permite ver verdaderamente todo lo que me rodea y cada persona que me rodea, como pertenecer a Dios. Mediante el uso de mi tiempo en oración, mi ministerio como sacerdote y mis donaciones económicas, mi interacción con el mundo físico adquiere un nuevo significado y gozo. Además, a través de la corresponsabilidad, capto más claramente los misterios del mundo espiritual y la belleza que se encuentra más allá de los dominios de mi cuidado. A medida que me esfuerzo por usar más y más de lo que se me ha dado para glorificar a Dios, el amor ilimitado de Dios me abraza cada vez más. Animo a todos a unirse a Dios para ser buenos administradores de lo que Él nos ha dado. Ser un buen mayordomo hace que la fe de uno cobre vida y le de verdadero significado y propósito a la vida.
thank God for the gift of faith every day. When I appreciate the many gifts God has given me, I realize that without the gift of faith, these other gifts would lose all meaning and importance. The very gift of life seems meaningless if it is not grounded in the belief that there is a God who cares for and loves me and my brothers and sisters. Parents pass along our belief system and can be beautiful examples of faithful people, but faith itself is a grace that only God bestows, and He bestows it generously. Every day I thank Him, and every day I realize how much more I could nurture and reveal that faith to the world. These days, I have been thinking about stewardship and how it speaks to my faith journey and love of God. When I think of myself as a steward of what God has created, I gain greater insight into the purpose of my life. God has promoted me, and all of us, into the high calling of caring for His creation. With my time, talents and treasures that God has entrusted to me, I care for the physical world. This stewardship allows me to truly see everything around me and every person around me, as belonging to God. Through the use of my time in prayer, my ministry as a priest, and my financial giving, my interaction with the physical world takes on new meaning and joy. In addition, through stewardship, I grasp more clearly the mysteries of the spiritual world and the beauty that lies beyond the realms of my care. As I strive to use more and more of what I have been given to glorify God, I am more and more embraced by God’s limitless love. I encourage everyone to join with God in being good stewards of what He has given to us. Being a good steward makes one’s faith come alive and gives true meaning and purpose to life.
