Irma 4-H Beef will be hosting a Beef on a Bun fundraiser at the New Horizons following the Irma parade. Kate Green spent the last week visiting family and friends at Irma. Smoky conditions led to the cancellation of ball games on Saturday. The New Horizons centre is open on Tuesdays and Fridays for card games and pool.

The Foundation is recruiting for an EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR. The Executive Director position core function is to manage the operations of the foundation in accordance to the guidelines established by the Board of Directors. Duties and Responsibilities will include: -Leadership and Management of the business operations of the foundation. -Along with the Board of Directors lead the development execution of the Strategic Plan. -Leading a small Administration team -Leading Fund Development and Donor Stewardship -Public Relations and Marketing -Along with the Board of Directors ensure legal compliance with the Canada Revenue Agency, and Provincial legislation and regulation. -Lead the development of the annual budget and provide timely and accurate financial reports to the Board of Directors. -Along with the Board of Directors ensure that the Foundation respects and meets the requests of the Donors for the long-term sustainability of the Fund. -Strong Public and Donor Relations. The successful candidate should have a University degree or proven experience in non-profit leadership and financial management, excellent Interpersonal skills to maintain donor, community partners, Board of Directors, and team member relations.
