THE ASSOCIATION'S education comr- mittee. undr.r the chairmanship of Ray Wells of the O'Malley Companies, has been meeting with Phoenix College officials during the past few weeks.

The meetings are designed to organize a Lumber Dealers Manasement Course at Phoenix College during in" tgeg Fall semester.

Progress, at this writing, is very encouraging as a proposed currir:ulum has been presented to Phoenix College officials for their approval : the commitlee expects approval to come within the next {ew weeks. The course is desiened to train future lumher yard employees in lumber yard management. It will bc a two year course.

We are setting up a scholarship program to tie-in with the course, to encourage employees to enter the building materials industrv.
