Joint Action update

W

e would like to thank every single person that donated to the Joint Action Christmas appeal. With your help we raised over £8,000 for Joint Action, the Orthopaedic Research Appeal of the BOA. We understand it is a difficult time for fundraising and that everyone has pressures on resources but we are delighted that as we emerge from the pandemic, we can push forward with our fundraising activities with two great events for 2022. The funds will continue to support our vital work supporting CTU’s but will also fund our exciting new fellowships in conjunction with ORUK. These offer fantastic research opportunities for trainees, Post CCT and SAS surgeons. After a break Ride London is back! We have three amazing riders taking part in the ride which heads out in Essex before a fantastic finish at Tower Bridge on 29th May. Please support our riders: www.justgiving.com/ campaign/JARideLondon2022.

Robert Jordan and Imran Ahmed

Later in the year, on 2nd October, we will have a strong team of runners taking on the challenge of the London Marathon and you can support them here: www.justgiving.com/campaign/JAlondonmarathon2022.
