Support from our communities The White Swan in Blyth cheered up our colleagues in Bassetlaw Emergency Department with homemade mother’s day meals for those who could not spend the day with their children.

The Rockin-R and the London North East Railway donated two medical gaming carts to our children’s ward. The carts are durable, easily moved and very easily cleaned – making them a Covid friendly source of entertainment for our youngest patients.

Centreparcs donated us 30 luxury hampers to be given out to our Bassetlaw Heroes. Team DBTH nominated their Bassetlaw colleagues, who they thought deserved recognition for going above and beyond, to receive the hampers.

Network Rail were on hand to bolster our stocks of PPE during the first wave of the pandemic. They donated all manner of gowns, masks and gloves.

Albemarle Homes selected DBTH as their official charity partner and pledged £100 for every sale of their new homes in local developments. Totalling over £40,000, the generous donation will go towards improving experiences for patients and staff.
