The power of showing up

By Sunil Kalia, Founder of AVA SEO

As a business owner, I’ve always believed that half the success is simply showing up, and that’s exactly what being part of the West London Chambers of Commerce helps you do. Reflecting on the British Slovenian Chamber of Commerce visit organised by the West London Chambers of Commerce, I had the opportunity to connect directly with Slovenian companies exploring trade links with the UK. One of those connections, DeltaHub, a design-led tech accessories firm, became a client after engaging my SEO consultancy, AVA SEO, to support their international website strategy. That project started with a handshake over coffee and concluded with a 5-star Google review.

Recently, the West London Chambers played a key role in the Maldives-UK Business Summit, which led to discussions with Maldivian ministers and tourism leaders about some exciting collaboration opportunities.

These aren’t just events; they’re pathways to tangible outcomes. The Chamber opens the door, but it’s down to you to step through. I’ve discovered that being present, engaging, and sharing your expertise allows real opportunities to emerge.

For any business wondering whether Chamber membership makes a difference, from experience: it definitely does.

“The Chamber brings people together and supports all types of businesses. It is always gratifying to see our members working together and forming working relationships that can last a lifetime! Businesses can feed off these collaborations to develop, grow and experience further success. This is what the Chamber is all about”
