Networking took on a refreshing twist in Tring as professionals gathered for a unique business breakfast event that blended connection, inspiration and wellbeing in equal measure.

Hosted by the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce, the Diamond Club Lunch welcomed the Chamber’s Diamond Club members to the tranquil surroundings of Champneys Spa. Set amidst this serene backdrop, the afternoon offered a distinctive opportunity to build authentic business relationships in a relaxed, wellness-focused environment.

The event was more than just a networking session; it was a chance to pause, reflect and engage in thoughtful conversation around leadership, purpose and professional development.

The afternoon featured a thought-provoking speech from adviser and coach Erika Clegg, Founder of Larkenby and Blue Light Leadership. Her talk on junk values challenged attendees to reconsider their definitions of success, purpose and culture within the workplace.

Adding further value to the event was an insightful address by Alec Colson, Partner and Head of Employment at Taylor Walton Solicitors, the event’s associate sponsor.

Donna Schultz, CEO of the Chamber, said: “This was a fantastic opportunity for professionals to come together, share experiences and develop new connections, all while getting to relax and unwind in the tranquil setting of Champneys Spa.

“Today wasn’t just about networking, it was about sharing insights, sparking ideas and celebrating the community that makes the Diamond Club so special.”

The Chamber extended warm thanks to Kirsty Beard and the Champneys team, who ensured guests were exceptionally well catered for throughout the afternoon.

The Patrons in attendance comprised:

• Ashbourne Insurance

• Menzies

• Ness M Care Services

• Oaklands College

• peer2peer

• Strand PR

Donna added: “We’re incredibly proud to host events like these for our members, events that bring people together in new and inspiring ways!”
