Kevin Donohue (Guitar), Josh Fairman (Bass Synthesizer and Bass Guitar) and Chris Anderson (Drums), make up the “Hydrofunk” electro trio Sunsquabi, one of our favorite acts. The newly self-released album “Instinct” captures in fine form the trio’s knack for creating songs born in improv jam sessions in both a live and studio setting. Joining Donohue, Fairman and Anderson for the session is Big Gigantic Saxman Nick Gerlach, Spencer Anderson on Violin, Pretty Lights’ Chris Karns on Turntables and String Cheese incident’s Jason Hann on percussion.
