Gratitude Journal

Introduction

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!

PSALM 117:24

We know from Scripture, from many saints who have gone before us, and from current research that practicing gratitude can help us be healthier—both spiritually and emotionally. That’s why we’ve created this journal to help you either start a practice of gratitude or enhance your current practice.

On your gratitude journey, you’ll need just two things: a pencil or pen, and a little bit of time. Inside, you’ll find space to jot down what you’re grateful for and to reflect in whatever way is best for you. There are a few lines for each day, so you can journal throughout the year. Even just a word or two is enough to turn your heart from worried to hopeful.

The format is open, allowing you to begin at any time, whether it’s September 1st or March 17th. Also included are additional pages, so that you can stop and reflect, draw, make lists, collect prayer requests, prepare for confession, or plan.
