MAKING A DIFFERENCE THE ALASKA HUNTING CONSERVATION FOUNDATION

The Alaska Hunting Conservation Foundation really made a difference to 100 students and their families this year by donating moose meat to the Changepoint Church. Changepoint then got the moose meat to needy families at Northwood Elementary, Chinook Elementary, and Gladys Wood Elementary Schools on May 6th, 2021. Game donations are part of our ongoing effort to get wild game meat into the hands (and stomachs) of people in need. Thank you from Changepoint Church: “Thank you for making this wonderful Alaskan resource available to the community! The school nurses and administration as well as the students and families that benefited from the moose meat were SO incredibly grateful! I had to reiterate that one more time. We can’t thank you enough for providing the funding to process the moose meat and entrusting us with distributing the meat to our school business partners, which benefited 100 students and their families. We are thrilled to have partnered with you and we hope there are more opportunities to partner and serve our Alaskan communities together in the days ahead!”
