PROGRAMS AT THE SENIOR CENTER

The library’s Senior Center Reading Room branch is currently open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–4:30 p.m. and on Saturday, 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. All in-person programs will be held at the Senior Center, 1801 W. Central Road. Safety precautions in place according to current, local mitigation guidelines.

Drop in and enjoy travel movies and documentaries.

Novice and experienced users discuss current technology, exchange tips, and offer advice for solving problems on PCs, tablets and smartphones.

Film Discussion Circle Tuesday, December 7, 1 p.m. / Senior Center

December’s movie is Dear Heart (1964), 114 minutes, starring Glenn Ford, Geraldine Page and Angela Lansbury. A discussion led by library staff follows a free showing of the film.

Current Events Discussion December 2, 9, 16 and 30, 10–11 a.m. Senior Center

Senior Phone Programs Join our weekly phone discussions where we listen to and discuss short stories or share reminisces of past events and experiences. No technology other than a phone is required.
