Technology support Technology known as telecare and telehealth can help the person you care for to be safer at home, for example by reminding them about medicines or making it easier to let someone know if they are in difficulty. The Disabled Living Foundation has information about telecare and telehealth. Call 0300 999 0004 or see their website www.livingmadeeasy.org.uk. The Scottish Government and NHS24 have created an online Telecare self-check tool. You will be asked a few simple questions about your situation, and it will give you advice and information about telecare based on your answers.
