Capgemini Engineering dispone en España de más de 150 consultores e ingenieros involucrados en proyectos directamente relacionados con la energía eólica. Por otra parte, a través del Centro de Excelencia Global de Energías Renovables, tiene la capacidad de coordinar los recursos necesarios para proporcionar soluciones específicas a sus clientes, con eficacia y agilidad. La compañía ha suministrado servicios de I+D, ingeniería, y digitalización desde hace 15 años con los principales players a nivel mundial. En los últimos años, ha desarrollado varios proyectos significativos en diferentes áreas de la cadena de valor, destacando estudios estratégicos y de transformación/incorporación al sector realizados para grandes corporaciones industriales y energéticas con interés en entrar en el negocio de la eólica, así como proyectos de definición de estrategia de desarrollo tecnológico e I+D para varias empresas del sector. LIFEX es una innovadora solución tecnológica de modelado y análisis de aerogeneradores que alarga su vida útil a través de la predicción de fallos, la creación de un modelo económico optimizado y un escalado eficiente en las turbinas. Capgemini Engineering cuenta con un amplio historial en proyectos de ingeniería forense en España y en el extranjero. Entre sus clientes figuran fabricantes de aerogeneradores y componentes asociados, promotores y operadores de parques eólicos o renovables en general, entidades financieras y administraciones públicas; a nivel nacional y global.
