TRISTEL RINSE ASSURE: THE TOTAL SOLUTION FOR EWD FINAL RINSE WATER. As of June 2021, healthcare facilities are required to have completed a gap analysis for AS/NZS-4187, in line with NSQHS Advisory AS18/07. Additionally, a documented remediation plan is required by December 2021. While these Standards cover a number of elements, one of the most discussed topics is Final Rinse Water; specifically Tables 7.2 (Manual Cleaning Manual Disinfection and Washer-Disinfectors) and 7.3 (Washer Disinfectors in Accordance with ISO 15883-4 For Thermolabile Endoscopes) and the conundrum of final rinse water in Endoscopy.
